How SoberTrail tracks alcohol-free days
SoberTrail gives you a private record of your days on iPhone. You can make a quick daily check-in or use Automatic counting. Both keep your calendar, total alcohol-free days, and earlier milestones in view.
Choose how to count your days
With Daily confirmation, you mark each alcohol-free day yourself. A completed day without a check-in stays unrecorded. With Automatic, eligible days count unless you record that you drank. You choose the style that fits you during setup.
Record a day honestly
An alcohol-free day adds to your progress. If you drank, you can record that day too. It will not be counted as alcohol-free. You can add an optional private note to either kind of recorded day.
Keep the progress you already made
A fresh start can change your current trail streak, but it does not erase earlier alcohol-free days, your best streak, or milestones you earned. Your calendar keeps alcohol-free, drank, and unrecorded days distinct so you can look back without losing context.
Understand the impact estimates
If you add a typical drinking and spending baseline, SoberTrail can show estimated drinks avoided and estimated savings. These figures come from your settings and resolved alcohol-free days. They are not a record of what you actually drank or spent.
